i'd predict that once the access and compatibility issues have been simplified for
academic kindle users, anyone who has spent their life printing
pdf's or html
articles will heave the enormous, relieved sigh of the newly unburdened when they realize they no longer have to stand by the printer hoping that the paper and toner hold out «for just these last few pages».
It works for the occasional
article or
academic publication when needed, and I couldn't be much happier with the
PDF functionality for my own purposes, but owning E INK eReaders has left me with higher expectations.
The library in its current form contains around 100 entries —
academic papers and books, as well as some blog and news
articles — with links to the content and, when available, direct links to
PDF copies of the studies.
Although there are always piles of books by the bedside, after lights out, I continue reading on a Palm, generally newspaper pieces from Avantgo and magazine and
academic articles in a stripped down
PDF format.
