2,000 veterans are scheduled to arrive in North Dakota to establish what they call a «human shield» to protect the thousands of
peaceful Water Protectors from police brutality.

peaceful protesters at the reservation in North Dakota, where Native demonstrators known as
water protectors have sought to delay, and ultimately redirect or derail, construction on the Dakota Access Pipeline, which is currently slated to run near the reservation.
New evidence leaked over the weekend proved what many
water protectors already suspected: private security and local police used surveillance and other counter-terrorism measures against their
