Mine came in on Friday and my weekend consisted of (all recipes in 1/2 or 1 / 3s because there are only 2 of us): maple bacon biscuits, potato, scallion, feta frittata, butternut squash galette, eggplant calzone, white chocolate pudding with blackberry curd, peach sour cream pancakes (with pears instead of peaches), risotto and corn stuffed poblanos, the black bean recipe, and finally the lemon bars!

Galettes are most often sweet (usually filled with fruits such as plums, peaches, berries, etc.), but they can also be made savoury, which I did here.

Lately, I've been fantasizing about this gorgeous mixed berries galette and this delicious - looking white peach and pecan galette.

Making an appearance at the table as both breakfast treat and dessert, the galette has me thinking twice before passing on peaches.

This galette is an excellent idea if you tire of eating peaches over the sink.

Hi Deb, made this and it was delish — one problem I have with galettes, whether peach or tomato, is that the bottom is gooey while the top is beautifully golden and crisp.
