It's amazing just how delicious and filling these collard wraps, with
a pecan nut mix, avocados, red peppers and alfalfa, are while being entirely plant based and bread free!

For this recipe I chose Southern Grove Almonds, Cashews and
Pecan Halves for the
mix of
nuts.
It sounds like you over-processed the dry
mix and the
pecans started to release their oils and turn into
nut butter.
* You can use any
nuts here but I liked the flavour of the
mix I used, which included brazil
nuts, almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts and
pecans.
This is another one of those awesome basic recipes that are ripe for doctoring: try adding a little cinnamon, some citrus zest, a few handfuls of chocolate chips or chopped
nuts — I bet
pecans would be really good in the
mix.

I went with
pecans to
mix things up but you can use whatever kind of
nuts (or seeds if you're allergic to
nuts) you have on hand.
Because
pecans are so expensive I've started making it with a
mix of
pecans, raisins and other
nuts.
TRAIL
MIX: I make my own very simply by
mixing together my favourite
nuts and seeds — cashews, almonds,
pecans, coconut flakes, and then adding some dried fruit in too: raisins, figs, and dates.

I once used a bag on
mixed salted
nuts (hazelnuts, almonds,
pecans, cahsews, and macadamia).
Take a large bowl and add Oats, almond meal, flour, Salt, chopped
pecans,
mixed nuts and brown sugar.

Mix Recipe, it means you can swap out the blueberries and
pecans for the other dehydrated fruit and
nuts of your choosing — bananas & peanut, pineapple & macadamia

I tried (and quickly devoured) this cashew butter, but Wise Choice Market also sells soaked almond butter,
pecan butter, walnut butter, and
mixed nut butter.
Another idea if you don't want to add onions but want a little crunch is top it with some toasted walnuts or
pecans or I even use a trail
mix that has a combination of sunflower seeds, pepitas, dried cranberries and
nuts.

A far cry from your bog - standard raisin and hazelnut fruit and

Mix all dry ingredients except for the
pecan nuts in a bowl.
I recently discovered I am intolerant to oats & cows milk so I had to change my breakfasts, and this is what I came up with... Every Sunday evening I make a large bowl of quinoa, with it I
mix in raisins (to make it sweeter), cashews,
pecans, pine
nuts, chia seeds and flaxseed and dish them into 5 different containers.

Consume about an ounce of
nuts & / or seeds in order to get a
mix of the different types of vitamin E (gamma - tocopherol & alpha - tocopherol) & choose those that have the highest amounts: sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, almonds,
pecans, walnuts (Black are higher than English), or pistachios.
Of course a couple other options are to buy and use a high quality pre-made granola or to make a fresh muesli by chopping up
nuts,
pecans and walnuts would work great, and
mix with some dried fruit and toss with a little maple or coconut sugar and syrup.
