I should like to read the Sunday sermon in which Cardinal Pell admitted there was a problem of
pedophilia within the clergy and that the culture needed to change.
While that is a very definite part of why the film is one of the most effective pieces of cinema I've ever seen, I'm glad it's being noticed because of the very real issue that it tackles — hidden
pedophilia within the Catholic Church.
Or have you not read the articles on the coverup of
pedophilia within the orthodox community in Brooklyn?
I frankly don't care about the particular theology of the CC and I frankly don't care about how the incidence of
pedophilia within the CC compares to the general rates in other sects or the public at large.
