religion may not be infringed by government mandates that

Now — I don't expect
people to renounce their
religion because of it.,... but it wouldn't suprise me if some fence sitters didn't get inspired to make their own minds up
about their beliefs...
It can be argued that the very idea of
religion came to be because
people a long time ago were trying to comfort themselves
about why we are here and what becomes of us after death.
I would reasonably assume I could pray, in silence or out loud, on a plane and
people wouldn't panic and might even understand that I am worried
about our journey and praying that we all arrive safely, no matter what
religion they choose to believe, or if they choose to believe in one at all.
All those
religion books that were written thousand years ago by
people who had no idea
about other cultures or how could they make sense one thousand years later are no better than cartoons.

religion when they are the ones visiting us and can already take note of our

Why does it seem so surprising to religious
people that we Atheists would be just as skeptical
about someone making a claim like this as we are

religion itself?
Some Christians simply choose not to rub their
religion in other
people's faces, and some are not secure enough in their beliefs to feel comfortable being challenged
about them, so they keep their beliefs to themselves.
But it's nice to see religious
people are bigotted
about things other than
religion too, like other nationalities.
