Some
people buy a
dog for the family based on its looks; however, it is recommended to learn
about its background, personality, temperament, characteristics, traits,
behavior, etc. before letting a
dog come into the family.

people side, you need to make some changes: don't get a
dog and not train it, don't pester a
dog, don't mess with a
dog and its prey objects, don't hit a
dog, don't leave a
dog unsupervised with a kid and prey object, listen to the warnings you get and respect them, learn more
about dog behavior, do a more in depth veterinarian examination with every
dog, and learn more
about the breeds you select.
Often shelters choose to work with rescue groups who know spit
about behavior and training because those
people can get the
dogs into fosters and homes, rather than actual trainers whose focus is resolution of problem
behaviors through training so the
dog can STAY in the new home, and stay safely for all concerned, the
dogs and the owners.
In this article, we are talking
about other
dogs but the
behavior could be fear / anxiety with
people, noises, touch, new surroundings or changes in the environment, to name a few.
Most
people that are anti-pit bull, never owned them and just listen to the bullshit that
people post
about them of bad
behavior or killing other living things, they never listened to the honest truth of how loyal these
dogs are to their owners.
