So I mainly follow links on
twitter now (and facebook to a lesser extent), following
people who are good sources of the things I'm interested in, and trusting that the good quality articles will float to the top... When I want more things to read I turn to Google Reader, but normally end up just picking up on the few
blogs I'm really interested in.

We can't advocate going to another
blog and trolling anonymous
people but we can advocate fucking up a real
person's

Some random
person making an innocuous comment on their
blog,
twitter, at a playgroup, whatever about their kids tv consumption or lack thereof is not meant as a dig at me or any other
person.
It spurred a lot of conversation and debate on
twitter, on my
blog, and on other
people's
blogs.
I'm not saying they all do it exceptionally well, but they mostly do have ppt - slides that can easily be put online to share with more than just the
people present in the room, through
blogs,
twitter and LinkedIn.
But as we all know, that's not what the blogging industry is about, I started to lose those connections I had with my readers, I missed
blog chats & general
twitter conversations with my blogging friends, I lost out on instagram because I didn't spend time engaging with
people who were taking the time to like or comment.

If you are friendly, generous, useful and a nice
person on your

twitter, then you will thrive and attract like - minded
people.
I have found my
blog and
twitter as the two best ways for me, personally, to connect with
people.
People thinking of following you likely will not if your
twitter stream is filled with tweets all about your book,
blog, content, etc..
Through word of mouth,

blogs, animal radio shows, anything you can think of, I think it could really capture
people and make them want to check back often to see what the latest shirts were.
