People looking for lost pets, turning in strays or unwanted pets, and officers bringing in injured, dangerous or lost creatures all come in and out of the same doors in the same 10 foot square room — a dangerous situation for animals, public, and staff alike.

Kennel Technicians are responsible for cleaning cages and kennels, feeding animals, processing animals during intake, assisting
people looking for their lost pets and assisting customers who are interested in adopting a pet.

Their office hours are from 8 to 4 each weekday, but
people can come to the shelter to adopt or
look for lost pets only from 8 to 10 AM and 2 to 4 PM on week days, with no evening or weekend hours.
