This simple

I had pesto already made, so basically I just needed to cook the protein (this time I used a smoky

I have a magic ingredient that makes
my pepper chicken easy and loaded with flavor.
Salt and
pepper your chicken breasts (make sure they are roughly around the same size for even cooking).
I don't usually add caramelized onion to
my pepper chicken, but this time I did and it gave it that extra zip that turned from yummy to WOW!
I had onions lying around so as the chicken cooked I caramelized them in another pan and gently folded them in at the end and
the pepper chicken came alive.
Lightly salt and
pepper the chicken, then add to the skillet and cook until golden and no pink remains.
