These vegan, protein donuts have a yummy winter - themed twist - a delicious glaze with a refreshing burst of
pepperminty flavor!
They won't have the pretty red and white candy pieces but they would still
taste pepperminty.
Now onto the peppermint whoopie pies, because I can not sustain a smile at Christmas time if a chocolatey -
pepperminty treat is not consumed during the month of December.
And I agree — it's got that
crisp pepperminty - y flavor, without all the nasty ingredients.
Of course, if you know me, you won't be surprised to find that I also dipped this in
dark pepperminty chocolate (yah, they rock)!
I also made some whipped coconut cream and added a bit of peppermint extract to make the dessert
extra pepperminty.
1/2 -1 tsp pure peppermint extract (or more, depending on
how pepperminty you want your hot chocolate to be)
Make sure you taste your mixture, if you prefer to have
more pepperminty taste then add a bit more extract.
place peppermint dust in a small square container and dip top half of each rice krispie treat into the crushed peppermint pieces for a pretty «
pepperminty» effect.
Store in an air - tight container and serve straight out of the cold, which adds a nice chill to
the pepperminty flavor!
