I had pulled a bunch of tomatoes and
peppers out of the garden and they really needed to be used up.
And I even used
a pepper out of my garden the other day, even though it probably could have used some more time -LSB-...]

I make stuffed
peppers and fill them with beautiful plump tomatoes
out of our
garden.
And it worked
out perfectly because I did have tacos on the menu, and a childhood friend
of mine that I am friends on Facebook with now, knows how much I like spicy shit, so he sent me some hot
peppers from his
garden!
I get so happy this time
of year with all the fresh produce, particularly chili
peppers, popping
out of the
garden.
With so many
peppers coming
out of the
garden, it can be difficult to keep them all, but once you start dehydrating, you start to realize you could grow so much more.
I am the type
of person who tinkers around in the
garden with bare hands, minces up spicy
peppers like they are just little fruits and pulls hot pans
out of the oven with just a kitchen towel or paper towel!
This looks so comforting, our
garden is producing plenty
of bell
peppers right now so I'm super excited to try this
out.
I try to prioritize buying organic produce, but organic bell
peppers especially can be hard to find (and pricey if they're not
out of the backyard
garden).
Growing beets near
peppers is another method
of filling in empty space in the
garden and shading
out weeds while helping to keep soil moist.
Carrots: Growing carrots around
peppers can help to shade
out some
of the weeds, providing a living mulch, and are a great way to maximize space in the
garden.
This year was our 2nd year
gardening and my jalapenos came
out tasting like bell
peppers though... my only guess is that I had them in the next row
of my banana
peppers..
