partners United.com is your best option at 70,000 miles
per person + $ 47.51.
At 140,000 miles, which is the lowest possible rate
on partner business class
flights to Europe
on United, and $ 166 in taxes and fees, that's a nearly a 5 - cent -

per mile when you redeem for upper class, long - haul
flights.
Normally this
flight on Star Alliance
partner Air New Zealand, would cost 15,000 miles
per person in economy class or 30,000 miles in business class.

Even if you use it offline, a 4.4 - 4.5 X bonus
on all spend is pretty amazing, assuming you value Ultimate Rewards points at 2 cents
per point (by transferring them to United MileagePlus and redeeming for business or first class
flights on Star Alliance
partners).
