Marist has weighed
in with the fourth poll on the gubernatorial
horse race out this week, and its results fall smack
in the middle of its rivals Siena and Quinnipiac, showing Andrew Cuomo leading Carl Paladino, 52 - 33 among likely voters with Rick Lazio garnering 9
percent and 6
percent unsure.
A study
in the journal Science claims that the movement of jockeys out of phase with their
horses eases the
horse's workload and accounts for up to 7
percent of the decrease
in race times over the last century.
