I celebrate all those who choose
baby - wearing and for those of you with 97th
percentile in weight
babies like mine, don't feel bad if you can't wear them, you just have to sit more, and take lots of breaks to hold them when you use the stroller.
Then all of the moms that I knew, he would compare
percentiles like that actually meant something between
baby to
baby.
I know that some people don't use
baby books anymore, but I love having a place to write down the new things my
babies do each month, their first words, what things were
like when they were born, and their growth
percentiles.
Third visit, at 1 month,
baby was happy, healthy, gaining
like he was supposed to, and doctor expressed concern that he was «only» 25th
percentile (not according to the WHO charts, of course).
If it does seem
like your
baby is slowly dropping
percentiles, it is worth looking into to see which growth charts are being used.
Ultimately, I think takes quite a lot of time to pump and you really shouldn't do it unless there's a great need for it
like you being away from your
baby or your milk supply really being low and your
baby failing to thrive and dropping down the
percentiles, or your
baby being unable to breastfeed for long enough (
like a premature
baby or one with a hole in their heart for example).
