allergies rather than an over-exposure or too early exposure... And if it works for peanuts
perhaps it will work for
other allergies as well... This could — IF it pans out — really shed a ton of light on the biology of
allergies.

If you have noted weight gain while on the low FODMAP diet — it may be that you are relying too much on processed foods and your goal should be to stick to foods as close to Mother Nature as possible — leafy low FODMAP greens, acceptable fruits, lean meats etc... You might have some
other food intolerances that are contributing to your scratchy throat — oral
allergy syndrome — or
perhaps another intolerance — I think it would be a great idea to connect with a registered dietitian.
There is probably no
other non-lethal health problem except
perhaps allergies that afflicts so many breeds of dogs as hip dysplasia.
The word
allergy is thrown around very often but I never recall hearing about all this growing up with my
other dogs (
perhaps the medicine has improved a bunch since I was younger or
perhaps there are
other reasons).
