Sometimes rice (and other grains) can be hard for people to digest, especially if they're trying to
heal their
gut, so often people will cut back or reduce grains for a
period of time.
Defined as a
period of time when you don't eat — typically around 16 hours, although adding or subtracting a few hours is fine — intermittent fasting improves energy,
heals the
gut, and can treat symptoms
of depression.
Going Paleo for a
period of 3 to 6 months or more can work wonders for
healing your
gut.
Now while I've been able to eliminate 99 %
of my adult - acne with a properly balanced diet (including a lot
of necessary
gut healing) and my natural skincare routine, I still get the occasional blemish (typically right before my
period).
In just 6 months
of implementing (almost) everything I learn't from Nicole, I had cleared up my acne, my hives were gone, I was no longer so fatigued (this for me is still a work in progress though), my
gut was beginning to
heal and I GOT MY
PERIOD BACK (I honestly don't think anyone has ever been as excited about getting their period before as I

This is a great option for finding out food sensitivities, but less so for giving your
gut a full
period of healing.
