For example, if you're a fan of using a mace you might want to equip the
perk which allows maces to ignore
armor, instead acting
like they're just hitting flesh.
Additionally, as you level up — much
like a traditional roguelike — you gain stronger weapons,
armor, and
perks.
You can choose which weapons you carry, which
armor you wear, which
perks you enjoy and which even which special weapons you'd
like to call down after a killstreak.
I love how the power
armor works this time around, and I really
like the
perks / level up system.
Raid
armor will now drop with specific
perks that only work while on the Leviathan, just
like players saw in the original Destiny.
Other items found in - world allow you to unlock sanctuary
perks like a blacksmith for upgrading weapons and
armor, a guide that allows you transport between areas, and a sell - sword that allows a local player to join for local co-op gaming (no online co-op, unfortunately).
