Fighting games
where you can tag in a partner are some of my favorite and I understand they want to differentiate Injustice from Mortal Kombat, but tag is great for when you have 4
people playing in the same room and not including it even as a local only
mode seems a little odd.
This is a great
mode for parties,
where you can leave the game running and
people can easily jump in and play or put down their instrument without ruining the rest of the song for everyone else.
A splitscreen third -
person local multiplayer arcade arena shooter
where you and other players control hovering drones, fighting each other in various game -
modes.
On top of normal third -
person fights, there's a Dynasty Warriors-esque skirmish
mode where Evan takes to the field surrounded by squads of chibi soldiers.
There is even a multiplayer
mode where you create a server then battle
people from all over the globe.
There are also other game
modes to play, like «Boss - Rush»,
where you fight all 7 bosses one after the other; a dodgeball game; a free - for - all arena battle and also a zombie
mode if you do your research, something which
people can't seem to get enough of these days.
Through the many abilities that Kilo can use in the main campaign
mode of Syndicate, it somehow eases up the repetitiveness of what we usually see in a first
person shooter game
where we simply just run, shoot and kill.
In all honesty the Battle Focus
mode is probably the area
where The Bureau shines the most, as the staid and familiar third
person cover and shoot mechanics, whilst solid, aren't anything particularly new or exciting.
Instead of having competitive multiplayer
modes, you'll be welcomed with missions
where you can play with up to four
people in the party.
