Becuase
of the way I was raised, plus my time at the Air Force Academy, I formed a
personal honor code that prevents me from lying, cheating, stealing and (this is the one modification I had to make once back in civilian life) am not judgemental towards others.
For Wenger, the right way to play the game is based on a set
of morals that transcend results; for Fergie, the right way to play the game is to win, and to hell with feelings and
codes of personal honor.
He ends up serving time, but won't rat on his friends, out
of his own highly
personal code, which seems glued together out
of Mafia
honor and his 12 - step program.
