As Reuters points out, Samsung has so far procured batteries for the Galaxy Note
phablet line from Samsung SDI and Chinese supplier Amperex Technology.

The handsets are the first new top - of - the -
line smartphones
from Samsung since the release and eventual global recall last fall of the company's Galaxy Note 7
phablet.
One user of the Facebook - owned service recently shared an ephemeral Story showcasing the larger Galaxy S9 Plus
from both sides, with the images seen above being largely in
line with recent rumors and reports about the upcoming
phablet.
Building
from the existing Note series, the Note 4 continues the
phablet - with - stylus product
line, but pushes much of its upgrade kudos into the screen department.
The Tab S 10.5 brings in elements
from the company's tablet, phone, and
phablet line - up.
The same can be said about the now old Galaxy Note 2
phablet as well as it indeed seems the last one
from Samsung's Galaxy
line - up to qualify for the Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade.
So, just like what many tech sites are saying, Samsung is not at all done with the Galaxy Note brand and it is far
from abandoning its famous
phablet line.
