from 2012, incorporating many of her techniques utilized over the course of her career; and Modern History

Paintings and some small sculptures, predominantly black and white, ranging
from pure to figurative abstraction;

In addition to his recent work, Gavlak is pleased to present a selection of earlier works
from the late 70s,
collages with text and appropriated imagery, works
from the 80s when he was a part of the historic Holly Solomon Gallery, blown glass mushrooms, Unicorn horns, and a
photo and embroidered text piece not shown since the mid 90s.
Besides performing as a musician in the band «Luxus» or respectively as an actor, he also once created for Claudia Skoda a floor
collage as a catwalk for her Kreuzberg studio that he made
from 1,300
photos from the fashion designer's environment.
Works in the exhibition include his earliest extant drawing
