They used an online

canvas printing service for the scanned artwork (and some other very cute stuff), but you could create the little masterpieces directly
on blank
canvases too.
To tie the little dining room sofa into the flow of the decor, I created a throw pillow with a snowy
photo I had from a winter past and added text in the same font I used
on the
canvas.
I paint with oil colors
on to
canvas, and l feature
photo - realism in my work.
