Before & after
photos are inspiring, to see how far you can
change a
space with a bit of a do over but yet not really doing that much is very exciting.
The most important part «Colors in
photos can be misleading and hues can
change drastically in different settings, so always test color in your own
space.»
I promise to go into more detail down the road on the decision to
change out the window and all the ways I expect it to transform our
space, but today I thought I would start by sharing some lovely inspiration
photos featuring round (and some oval!)

photos show the original stained dark wood — and really help to illustrate the dramatic
change that paint alone can bring to a
space.
I have a new rug for this
space on order (this one is old and worn as you can see in this
photo), and I am so excited to see how the new one completely
changes the look of this
space.
When walking into my home I have a small entry
space and a large wall.At one time I thought I would put a bench there and maybe a mirror.But having such a small
space with a door I did not think a bench would work.I found this piece of furniture a few years ago at a resale shop.I think it fits perfectly in this tight
space.There is still plenty of room for my door to open.My front door is just to the right of the
photo... but not seen.I
change this often.This time I decided to add a window in front and a few other things too.I love layering pieces together.But I could not stop here.I found this old painting at a thrift store.
The one
space I'm missing is their son's bedroom, which I'm kicking myself for not taking a
photo of, since even though we are doing very little with his
space, the
changes we are making will likely have a HUGE impact.
