He uses unconventional materials in traditional photographic techniques to produce unique photographic prints with a conceptual twist; for example his «dust» series, which uses collected dust and adhesive in place
of the usual photographic chemicals to print delicate, gossamer images; or his
photographs of lakes and rivers that are developed in liquid collected from the
bodies of water themselves.

Alongside images from Skogar is a second series
of photographs, developed from the same
body of water, this time featuring an intense monochromatic blue.
This exhibition, featuring
photographs from several projects and
bodies of work, including the Rephotographic Survey Project,
Water in the West, Third View, Yosemite In Time, and as yet unexhibited work from Lake Powell, will explore Klett's creative practice and the ways that working with others expanded his artistic contributions to the field.
Much as Bracha's drawings and paintings foreground the fragility
of the archival material, her videos evoke an atmosphere
of water and explore, with jellyfish and butterfly, how the fluidity
of the medium allows images — often drawn from Bracha's paintings, drawings, notebooks, and family
photographs of mothers and daughters — to emerge and recede, to fade into one another, and to move between
bodies and generations.
Sugimoto's Seascapes (begun in 1980) depict
bodies of water from the English Channel to the Bay
of Sagami, each
photographed in the same stark composition
