AdoptUSKids offers the only federally funded national
photolisting of children and youth in United States foster care who are available for adoption.
1977: With new Executive Director Peggy Soule (and a grant from the Junior League of Rochester) the newly independent entity, The CAP Book, Inc., becomes a regional, multi-state
photolisting of children who have been waiting the longest for adoptive homes.

Not exact matches
Very few
of the children Holt places with families ever appear on the waiting child
photolisting.
You won't see pictures
of infants or chubby toddlers in
photolists because most families can easily imagine parenting an infant or toddler.
We have not seen an official definition
of «soft referral» but it appears to include
photolisting — or more specifically allowing international adoption agencies to place a child who is on a
photolist.
A prospective adoptive family looks at a
photolist, reads the description
of the child and his special need.
What you will see in a
photolist is a teen holding a football with a shy smile, a child in a wheelchair proudly showing off his latest drawing, a child with a heart condition on a swing, or a sibling set
of three holding hands.
On the www.AdoptUSKids.org
photolists, there are currently 4,345 children from infants up to the age
of 21 who are freed for adoption.
