Back to the
outfit (oops), I looked at
photos of this place before I went on picking out my
outfits and I thought it would be «out
of the place»
if I were to wear my usual attire
of (mostly) black so I went for something that matches the theme
of this museum more.
If I take
photos of my
outfits, I'm going to have to make sure I have given myself enough time to change after I see the picture!
I took a little break last week after I got back from Paris — the constant nagging in my head
of when to take
outfit photos and
if my
outfit was even blog - worthy was just a big damper on the trip and it was boring me to death.
The flip side
of all this,
of course, is the argument that
if you've gone to the trouble
of creating a website, taking a
photo of your
outfit, and then posting it publicly, you must be implying that you consider this particular
outfit to be exemplary.
If there is a location that I think is really perfect for a certain
outfit we might go there solely for the purpose
of outfit photos.
I think that even
if you are not the kind
of person to always have every week planned the same from morning until night, certain rituals — daily traditions I would call them — are important because they are small moments we can look forward to, like having that cup
of coffee:) Beautiful
photos — love your
outfit and Staufs Coffee looks lovely.

of hearts has something to do with the digital age we're living in now?
The first
outfit were taken on the day
of shoe pain and
if you look closely you can almost feel my thinking «help me» in every
photo.
(Well, I love basically every
photo you post:P) You two took such nice
photos of eachother, and you and your
outfit look perfect against that background ^ ^ I would love to meet you
if / when I go to Tokyo!
Once a week I encourage you to get out in public, take your
outfit photos while doing an activity (even
if it's just getting coffee), and use words to tell the story
of your adventure.
If you took
photos of my
outfits during spring break all you would see is a whole lot
of sweatpants.
I've been loving my white sneaks for quite a while now and the switch out
of the white laces for black struck me as a great way to connect the shoes to the
outfit (even
if I had to borrow them from my real trainers for the
photos because I forgot to buy new laces in time for the
photo shoot).
(I.E.
if you wore a certain pair
of boots a month ago in an
outfit post, use that
photo again in your Black Friday post guide, and link back to that old post so people can get an idea
of how to wear them!)

Between swim lessons and dealing with Chewie's behavioral issues (more on that below) and keeping up my 4 - 5 days a week
of strength training and Jason's work schedule, well, I'm lucky
if I get
outfit photos taken at all.

photos of celebs wearing white sneakers isn't enough
outfit inspo, follow Kate's lead by wearing lace - ups with skinny jeans and sporty tops.
Once a week I encourage you to get out in public, take your

Even
if, in the interest
of full disclosure, I didn't wear this
outfit anywhere other than for
photos.
If you have browsed through a street style gallery from any
of the major fashion weeks, you will have inevitably seen a
photo of Caroline Issa in one
of her seemingly infinite Perfect
Outfits.
This blog started years ago as a fun place where I've been just sporadically publishing my
outfits with almost no text at all or just a few lines and additional
photos from my everyday life, but nothing too «constructive» or with any other point than having some sort
of online diary and leaving it to the Internet universe to discover my blog and engage or follow
if people wanted to.
I've been living in this Tobi jumpsuit and have posted over 5
photos of this
outfit on my IG (@joanndoan)-- and
if you don't know, that's a lot
of pics for one
outfit lol... so I think it's about time I posted it on the blog.
I eventually got them and I really like them — have worn them a lot — they do look a lot like in the
photo, definitely gold metallic, but
if you are fairly daring in your
outfits like me, they add a sort
of quirky touch.
If the was one
photo shoot location in Los Angeles I wanted to take some
outfit pictures at — then it was LACMA, the Los Angeles County Museum
of Art.
I would always focus on great content and
if you take lots
of outfit photos then photography may be the thing to learn first.
So send me your
photos of you dressed up, or just lay out an
outfit if you're feeling shy, or even put together an ensemble on polyvore.
Capturing
photos of your ring bearer in their formal wedding wear is a must, but it's especially important
if the
outfit is this cute.
This is yet another example
of how much my
photos has changed over the years, would you have asked me three years ago
if a purple lit escalator was to be the background for an
outfit post I would most definitely have said no.
Give it a try, and

And,
of course, since it's no fun to fill out a survey
if you don't get to see your responses in action, I want to share the results with you along with my thoughts (and

I posted a short video
of myself on my stories explaining that I wanted them to help me choose my
outfit for fashion week and shared
photos of two coat options — so as not to give away the whole look — and I then used Instagram's handy poll feature to ask my followers
if I should wear a furry black and grey jacket with cropped sleeves or
if I should opt for a teddy bear style - eggplant colored coat.
I was looking through my IG feed at the beginning
of the month (trying to figure out
if I had worn a particular
outfit before), and came across an old Winners changing room
photo in which I was trying this Ivanka Trump dress.
Although, to be honest, I probably would have paired black boots with this
outfit instead
of of my dark brown boots
if it hadn't been for today's Inspiration Monday
photo.
My Instagram isn't a constant stream
of outfit photos and selfies (okay, admittedly I've been posting more
of them recently), my photography doesn't look as
if it's been torn right out
of a glossy magazine (this post excluded, thanks to the wonderful Olyesa) and I still have no real interest in properly entering the world
of YouTube.
If I haven't sent my photographer
photos of the
outfits, we will do a run down
of the
outfits so that we can plan locations that look good with the colors and vibes
of each look.
If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed that a lot
of my
outfit photos include the option to shop those pieces via LIKEtoKNOW.it.
If you categorize yourself as a fashion blogger and aren't sharing
photos of your
outfits it will feel off that things don't line up.
I also like taking
photos of outfits to get second opinions from friends or my Mom on
if my
outfit really works, or
if I should try again.
I sent this
photo (please disregard my unmade bed and lack
of accessories in the
photo...) to my friend prior to going out to see
if this
outfit was appropriate — she's my personal fashion consultant;) We both think that leggings are okay as pants
if the top you're wearing covers your booty.
That's why I prefer to take
outfit photos at the beginning
of the work day,
if possible — but I really don't mind that much, as this just goes to show that I really do wear my
outfits in real life!
Whether it'd be for baby fashion - related
outfit ideas for your little ones or
if you just want to lift up your spirit from being extremely exhausted today, we have a couple
of photos of cute babies with absolutely adorable looks that's going to make you wish you have a baby (or two) and dress them up however you wish.
So
if you blog, take a few
outfit photos this weekend
of your current favorite denim obsession whether it be a jacket, skirt, jumper, overalls, or simply your favorite pair
of jeans.
For example, you could say you like his
outfit or the style
of his
outfit from his profile
photo, or you may ask
if he has tried out one
of the golf courses near your home,
if he has said on his profile that he enjoys an activity like golfing.
Kinnear effortlessly generates his usual sympathy, even
if his uncharacteristic trysts seem borrowed from a different comedy, the kind where a montage
of trying on different
outfits to wear for an online dating profile
photo isn't quite as random and dumb.
