I mean, sure, little Sally looks totally adorable in her paisley maxi dress that has been paired with the beautiful gladiator sandals, and little Timmy is just the cutest in his new digs, when moms are forever sharing
photos of their kids in amazing
outfits, it kind
of gets annoying (and you might find yourself gossiping with your friends about how much money she must be spending
on her kids» clothing.)
To the right you can see former York Employee, Mike Locondro with his brown jacket towards the left

photo and then Michael Krivka (black shirt, white sleeve with print) is standing next to Slim «The Hammerman» Farman,
on the right (black
outfit, white goatee).
So for B we went for a Marty McFly inspired
outfit with a hint
of George in his bouffant and for me — my look is actually based
on a
photo of a group
of women in their early 20s and one in particular who I've pretty much lifted the entire
outfit of.
I ended up wearing this
outfit on the third day
of my NYC adventures, which included meetings with a PR firm, checking out the Addition Elle pop - up shop, spending some time at the Universal Standard showroom and being a bit
of a tourist by popping over to Radio City Music Hall (where the Mother premiere happened to be going
on when we shot these
photos).
Back to the
outfit (oops), I looked at
photos of this place before I went
on picking out my
outfits and I thought it would be «out
of the place» if I were to wear my usual attire
of (mostly) black so I went for something that matches the theme
of this museum more.
I bet you'll see most
of these items coming up in new blog posts because I am planning
on taking some
outfit photos as well.
Yesterday I already showed you my new Schutz shoes and because
of the nice comments
on these golden mules,
on my blog and
on instagram (@RedReidingHood), I immediately decided to take
outfit photos.
Well I actually blur some
of my
photos on purpose but maybe I shouldn't be encouraging Lola haha In any case these
photos of Lola sure came out great and she looks so chic in these culottes and I'm loving the cool blue tones
of the entire
outfit.
After we made it to Paris
on the 1st
of March in the afternoon, we were quite lucky that the sky cleared up for just an hour after the beautiful Guy Laroche show and we managed to quickly take some
photos of my ultra colourful
outfit.
It's probably good I have some
photos without the bag so you can actually focus
on the rest
of the
outfit!

I have been so busy in the last couple
of weeks, so
outfit posts have been the last thing
on my mind (sorry fashionistas) but I found style inspiration from somewhere a few days ago and shot some
outfit photos.
We took a quick set
of outfit photos on a Samsung phone since I decided to leave my Nikon Cameras at home.
Another popular
outfit on Instagram, and was one
of those I wasn't bouncing for joy about when I put it together but it looked great in the
photos.
Having taken
photos of ourselves for the
outfit post, we're going to comment
on the
photos of ourselves, and
of each other.
I took a little break last week after I got back from Paris — the constant nagging in my head
of when to take
outfit photos and if my
outfit was even blog - worthy was just a big damper
on the trip and it was boring me to death.
My highlight was clearly tracking down some
of the best street art in LA (thanks to Studio DIY's «Wall Crawl» post) to take
outfit photos in front
of it (I mean come
on, who doesn't think that's fun:p) haha!
In fact, just yesterday, my
outfit was cute, but it was so stinking cold that I had to layer a frumpy sweater
on top (I took no
photos of it with the sweater) but a girl needs to stay warm sometimes even at the expense
of looking like a frump - monster!
While we were in Seattle over the holidays I topped this all - black look with the grey jacket (so technically this
outfit isn't 100 % black
on black in all
of the
photos, but it was REALLY cold and the only coat I packed!).
(BTW — a flat lay is a
photo of an
outfit taken from above
on a flat surface for the purposes
of displaying it.
I know this is a stretch
of a topic for an
outfit post, but I was looking at these
photos and thinking about how cotton dresses get wrinkly the minute you put them
on, which,
of course, led me to think about my days as a professional ironing girl.
It has been a little while since I posted
on here, after a little break for many reasons I have decided to get back to it and start fresh with new content, a bit
of a personal twist to the blog, instead
of just adding
photos of various
outfits I would like to add...
I didn't get chance to post my
outfit from the last challenge, but you can see a
photo of it in flat - lay form over
on Jen's blog.
Even though I'm a «fashion blogger» and I post
photos of myself wearing cute
outfits everyday, the reality is I'm usually at home
on the couch in my pj's or jeans and a t - shirt (hence my blog name — Jeans and a T - cup).
Not only do I like the 1910's inspired
outfit (which is a bit different
of a style for me, and one that I am incorporating more and more into my wardrobe), but the
photos were taken
on the brink
of a summer thunderstorm!
When I decide
on an
outfit combination I love, I take a
photo of it
on me in the mirror so I can remember everything correctly.
I thought it was the tulips, but after seeing these
photos, I think maybe my
outfit was cheery enough to generate a little sunshine, and a lot
of smiles from people,
on what was a very gray day.
I definitely have
outfits that don't photograph well, mostly ones that I love but in
photos look far too boring to bother posting as sometimes the different textures
of my typically all - black ensembles get lost
on the
photos xxxxxxx p.s. I would absolutely love to be a pen pal, I've never actually had one except a german pen pal when I was 14 and my german was limited to say the least!
It's been awhile since we had a chance to go out and shoot
outfit photos (we have been so focused
on our little baby, as he was a newborn he needed 100 %
of our time and energy and now, as he's bigger - he's now 4 months old, he cries less and it's just easier to get things done!)
I post very few
outfit photos (only to» advertise» what's
on the blog), I mainly post
photos of all sorts
of random things that catch my eye.
I posted a
photo on my Facebook page
of what I wore
on NYE (well not exactly showing my whole
outfit) and I will soon make a full
outfit post so you can have a better look.
I love the tone
of your
photos and your black
on black
outfit is just beautiful < 3
Although the
photo in front
of the red car is stunning from a color and contrast study I couldn't tell you what you were wearing unless I peeked again but I do remember every
outfit you modeled
on your way to work surrounded by your environment.
One could argue that some
of the people
on the
photos are going out
of their way to get noticed by wearing the most outrageous and non-real-life applicable
outfits, but we'll attempt to steer clear
of the overly busy and virtually unwearable looks and bring you only those that show that there are still fashionistas out there who can walk the fine line between traffic - stopping and relatable.
And, I have to mention — I posted the above
photo on Instagram and I got a lot
of questions about my
outfit!
A lot
of changes have taken place in my life in the last few weeks and since they impact the blog, and since there are a lot
of family friends back home who read the blog and are interested in what's going
on, I felt like I should give a little life update before I get back into
outfit photos.
This was because I took a few
photos of outfits for ModCloth's Style Gallery and they seemed to go over well
on the site, and I really enjoyed taking the
photos and putting the
outfits together.
Anyways, after hours
of contemplating
on forgetting these
outfit photos, i decided to upload the
photos because someone out there might need an inspiration
on styling the modern pinafore.
Sophie's been sharing fun cocktail recipes, details
on gigs she's lusting over, and
photos of beautiful autumnal
outfits.
I posted a couple
of photos of this plaid scarf
outfit on Instagram but it somehow never made it to the blog!
I have tried stylists and paid $ 400 for a few Skypes with a few stylists and at the end felt quite deflated as all that transpired was to try
on each
outfit, take
photos and send them in and then we would go over why each
outfit didn't work and that was it: end
of story, thank you and goodbye.
The first
outfit were taken
on the day
of shoe pain and if you look closely you can almost feel my thinking «help me» in every
photo.
