As a much more generalist device, the iPad has no
physical page turn
controls, relying entirely on the touchscreen.
The touch screen is a perfectly good substitute for
physical controls; it was as quick to turn
pages by swiping the screen as it was to press the button, and both methods were faster than the Kindle by a slim, but noticeable margin.
