Coming from a family of physicians and scientists, Jauhar spent time in an emergency room
as an
undergrad but decided to major in
physics instead.
As an
undergrad, I studied engineering
physics at the University of Oklahoma, and all my degrees are from engineering departments.
When confronted with Willis» intuition vs. textbook science that any atmospheric science
undergrad major learns, I'd at least recommend that you work through the
physics a little before dismissing the latter
as superficial.

We are so quick
as scientists, non experts, the lay public, some ill informed
undergrads, ad infinitum, to argue in this blog, however, you
as a first hand expert modeling paleoclimate and modern climate trends and obviously with a handle on chemistry and
physics, also have a vested interest in our planet and though you do the modeling for a living, I do not doubt it has helped you gain inisghts and opened up your eyes to the complexity and current to future detriments and potentialities we all face
as humanity.
I learned statistics
as a
physics undergrad and at the Army's school for quality control.
