We almost always have both

green beans around, thanks to my Mom, who will painstakingly
pick through the
fresh green bean bin at the market to make sure every
green bean that goes into her bag is perfect.

As I was packing, my mom handed me a bunch of

picked green beans and bundle of banana peppers for the road.

pick some up along with
fresh fruit,
greens, veggies, oats and other whole grains, lentils,
beans, peas, potatoes, and other simple ingredients that are packed with nutrition.
When selecting
green beans, opt for
picking them loose so you can ensure you get the
freshest beans.
Because according to Mark Sisson, peas and
green beans are eaten
fresh, not dried, which means they are young
beans (not like the rest, which need to dry and rattle in the pods before
picking) and have been bred to be digestible.
For the added veggies, they only use Savory sweet potatoes,
fresh -
picked green beans and garden quality carrots.
