picture race between Spotlight and The Revenant, with The Big Short lurking as a prominent dark horse.

Picture race felt this close.

Picture race,
between The Revenant, The Big Short and Spotlight after they each took key industry wins.
At this point the best
picture category looks like a horse
race between «Brokeback Mountain» and «Crash,» with «Crash» gaining in the turn.

race ended in a tie
between «Carlos» helmer Olivier Assayas and David Fincher, whose «The Social Network» pulled in wins for Best Screenplay and, ultimately, Best
Picture.
If you listen to the experts, this is a two - horse
race between legit Oscar best -

Unless something drastic happens
between now and Christmas, it looks like it could be a two - horse
race this time around, with Nintendo all but out of the
