In fact, if you were like me, the closest our
pictures came to being «shared» or «liked» when we were kids were when friends and relatives would visit and parents would bring out the ever - dreaded
scrapbooks.
Since I already have 40 years worth of
scrapbooks already, and a lot of vintage Valentine's Day cards are already safely tucked behind the page protectors, and the rest are still waiting to be put
in their proper places next to 3rd grade school
pictures, 7th grade volleyball awards, and Middle School graduation certificates, I'm just not terribly sentimental about brand - new Valentine's Day cards.

In the
picture above I used
scrapbook paper to give my file cabinet a tiled herringbone look, and I added yardsticks to my kids stepstool (which I think looks awesome).
There might even be
pictures of landscapes, gardens, or even other houses that are compiled
in a
scrapbook of sorts.
I don't know what I would do differently because I am freaking exhausted but I do that we must be kindred spirits because sometimes I take a
picture and post it or
scrapbook it or whatever and I see the random, forgotten can of Diet Coke
in the corner.
I took old
pictures to current
pictures and did our family history
in the panes with
scrapbook pages.
