I have to agree with other
reviewers that this
book is let down by the over use
of pictures of Ella with her friends and family.
As a frequent
book reviewer, I'm often asked to consider
books that I'd never choose in a bookshop or library — unlike the Ladybird
book pictured here, which I snapped up in a secondhand bookshop the other day for the sake
of its bizarre cover, and because I adore vintage Ladybird
books.
But until then,
book reviewers, feel free to send me
pictures of your «to be read» piles / shelves / bins / rooms and I will add them to the Flickr set.

Picture of Dorian Gray offended the moral sensibilities
of British
book reviewers, some
of whom said that Oscar Wilde merited prosecution for violating the laws guarding the public morality.
Instead there is a
picture of the 8th edition
of Book Reviewer Yellow Pages with a small message about how there are new
reviewers and hosts in the new edition.
