I do caution my Grand kids to not post photos
of their
babies naked laying on their tummies on a blanket because
of getting into trouble
too, but really, what Mom doesn't want that precious
picture of their little ones in that pose?

baby number and snap away till you have over 100
pictures of your two
babies, and fingers crossed one shot has
baby number one smiling and
baby number two not crying.
For a dad who works away from home, a cute
picture of his darling
baby (and partner) in a (not
too cute) frame is a nice gift.
As long as the weather is not
too cold, and as long as your
baby knows not to undress in the grocery store, just take lots
of pictures and show them when they are 16.
This may seem silly,
too, but you are going to be taking a lot
of pictures at the hospital holding your new
baby, and since you are going to feel chubby and still fat after they are born, it is always nice to have a little bit
of glam to make you feel better!

baby because we're so often behind the camera
It's important to keep children that are
too young to understand the dangers
of a kitchen outside this hazardous area by using
baby safety gates like the one
pictured below.
I am no expert, and I don't pretend to have the answers — I am just a parent who is approaching the second anniversary
of the stillbirth
of her first son — but I do know the power
of peer - to - peer support, having a voice, and being listened
too, discovering others who can say «me
too», and being informed in the bigger
picture of baby loss outside
of your own story.

of pictures of your
baby,
too.
