I made a fresh homemade whipped cream and added coconut
extract to fit the
flavor of the
pie.
For a little bit of
flavor I add some apple juice and vanilla
extract to the liquid, and some pumpkin
pie spice.
Ingredients 3 medium sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed 3 extra-large whole eggs 8 extra-large egg yolks 4 cups half - and - half 1/4 cup pure maple syrup 3/4 cups sugar 1 tsp pumpkin

I also bake a strawberry
pie similar to yours, but minus the lemon juice and strawberry
extract, but I bet the
extract adds a bit more
flavor.
I attribute this to the temperature that cookies, cakes, puddings and
pies bake or cook at cause most of the
flavors in pure vanilla
