I used two last year around the holiday season.i wanted to know can I use a regular aluminum
pie pan instead?
I'm sure this can be made in
a pie pan instead of a tart pan.
I usually use a metal pan, but it was dirty so I used my Pyrex
pie pan instead.
Note that I used a greased nonstick deep dish
pie pan instead of a tart pan; it worked just as well.
A person could make this in
a pie pan instead of a tart pan — more room for the filling; or, make a little less filling; use a larger tart pan; or maybe you'll sail through it all just fine as is.

I also doubled the recipe and used a springform
pan instead of the
pie.
Slice them up and place in one layer in your skillet (a round baking dish or
pie pan could be used
instead, if you like), add some sliced garlic (I used 3 or 4 cloves), some fresh thyme leaves (from 2 - 3 sprigs), and drizzle with some olive oil (I am pretty liberal with my drizzles).
Instead of making a
pie, you could place the prepared recipe inside of non-bleached muffin holders & freeze within a muffin baking
pan.
Instead, of these adorably rustic
pies, I was always all about more formal
pies in
pie plates and tart
pans.

pie plates, and baking sheets by coating them with coconut oil,
instead of cooking spray
Slight changes I had to make: pumpkin puree in place of the applesauce (1:1), a whoopie
pie pan in place of the ring molds, and I baked for 12 minutes
instead of 15.
It also suffered for being in a
pie dish
instead of a
pan.
