I also always have frozen
pie shells at the ready so I can whip up a quiche with whatever I have on hand — leftover veggies, chicken sausages, quinoa and a little bit of cheese.

Pour into the
pie shell and bake
at 350 for 50 - 60 minutes.
Note: if using homemade dough, pre-bake tart
shell covered in foil with dried beans or
pie weights
at 400 degrees F for 15 - 17 minutes, then and add meat and veggies and custard filling and bake for additional 20 minutes or so until the tart is set.
Immediately spread in
pie shell and freeze until the ice cream is firm,
at least 2 hours or up to overnight.
