If you are so inclined to bake this
pie in a regular 9 - inch
pie tin, please, by all means
do.
I don't think it would have worked as easy with a regular
pie tin.
All you
do is press
pie crust (I used pre made gluten free
pie crust) into mini muffin
tins and place a small chunk of brie inside and bake for 10 minutes.
I also used a regular glass
pie pan since I didn't have a
tin one.
She also warned to use a
pie shield or
tin foil so the crust
does not burn.
If you're not sure what galettes are, they're basically free - form
pies i.e. they're
pies that don't need to be made in a
pie tin.
I simply pressed the «raw crust mixture» into a mini muffin
tin, same as you would
do with a typical
pie pan and then filled each with the luscious key lime filling.
To be honest, I didn't see my kids eat their
pies because I had to leave the party, and I doubt they were perfect by ice cream
pie standards, but the
tins came back clean.

I didn't have a removable bottom
pie tin, so I used a normal one excessively lined with parchment paper and then lifted it out afterward.

did - or something similar as that would probably bulk up the sweetness to the right level.

pies in a large muffin pan or individual
pie tins.
