I can't believe that Liam Neeson didn't make enough money with his Phantom Menace merchandising
cuts to do this
piece of shit, and poor Lilly having to utter some
of the worst
dialogue in movie history.
Instead
of quick
cut montages and smirky quips, there is an emphasis on long tracking shots and sparse
dialogue, which downplays the excitement
of the
piece in exchange for a thoughtful and nearly existential vibe.
There's also a few
pieces of dialogue which
cut off abruptly, which makes it feel like they were either played out
of order or simply not timed correctly.
