In the catalogue accompanying the exhibition,
art critic Donald Kuspit writes: «Carol Ross gives us two kinds
of sculpture: large, free ‐ standing works, implicitly monumental, sometimes evocative
of nature, sometimes
figurative, and smaller wall
pieces, sculptures as flat as the wall on which they are placed as though they were paintings.
