So, I have about two
pieces of wood left over from our original diy industrial shelf in the kitchen.
I had a scrap
piece of wood left over from another project (12 ″ x24 ″).
I cut the paneling into a two equal sized sections and screwed them together using
another piece of wood left in my shop from a previous project.
Not exact matches
I photographed them on
wood pieces left from our Christmas tree a couple years ago because when I think
of hot buttered rum, I think
of sitting by the fire after being out all day, skiing or sledding or snowshoeing or something fun out in the snow and coming in to warm up.

You only need five
pieces of wood that you can have cut before you
leave the lumberyard... which means all you have to do when you get home is put it together!
The tip is designed not to
leave any marks, too, so you don't need to worry about scuffing up the
wood or fabric
of the
piece you're working on.
The latter is how manufacturing has traditionally been done: Layers are subtracted, or removed from a larger
piece of material (
wood, metal, stone, etcetera),
leaving the desired shape.
Leaving the top surface
of a
piece of painted furniture in its original
wood grain appeals to me on so many levels.
But I've eyed up a couple
of beautiful soft cashmere
pieces as well as some
woods themed kitchenware this season, and I am surely also into health and fitness a lot more recently, hence why the cookbook and leggings picks couldn't be
left out
of this Autumn wishlist
of mine!
I also made a sign from a
piece of pallet
wood that I had
left over from my Pallet Farmhouse Pantry Sign.

In «Into the Groove» (2010), which was painted on a slightly off, rectangular
piece of wood, with a small circular indentation punched into it and two strips
of corrugated cardboard adhered to its surface, Clippinger echoes the scalloped edge
of one cardboard strip by painting a similarly scalloped form in black along the painting's
left edge.

of empty clay candle containers, then the Goodwill Outlet $ 5.00 mirror, a candle hurricane from the Smith & Hawken collection from Target and a brass candlestick that may have cost.50 again from the Goodwill Outlet.

Raw
wood is an art
piece in and
of itself, so
leave the walls unadorned and let the grain shine.
You may be able to use some
left - over
pieces of wood that way and have a more finished look on the back side
of your door.
The original knots and grain
of the
wood are
left intact, ensuring each and every
piece is natural, beautiful and unique.
I truly love the
pieces of furniture that you paint the lower part and
leave the top with the
wood finish.
