Project Runway Season 1 Winner and local Philly artist / designer, Jay McCarroll has contributed some pretty sweet
pillows for our current exhibition titled, Farmhaus & Friends.
The modern rugby stripes matched my color scheme, the size of the fabric meant I'd have fabric leftover
for future
projects, and the shower curtain would add some waterproofing making the
pillows more durable.
Also, there's a future
project for the nightstand holding the
pillows made from an old drawer that I screwed onto an old table bottom!

That's one of the biggest pieces of advice I give my design clients — if you are on a budget, choose neutrals
for the big ticket items like furniture and flooring... and then, when you get the itch to switch, you can do so without breaking the bank by adding a couple seasonal throw
pillows, a few pops of color via florals, or maybe an inexpensive blanket or DIY
project.
Having someone come to photograph your home is great motivation
for completing
projects like making a cushion and
pillow covers
for the settee.
Because if you're looking
for something different... a bolster
pillow might be just thing
for your next
project.
In my craft room, I have a bunch of random throw
pillows so I decided to re - use / recycle one of them

project rather than purchase new «filler».
