I tried the My Brest Friend
pillow but didn't
have enough back support for me and I
had terrible back pain while nursing with it.
She also notes that it might be more comfortable in a standard cradle position if you didn't focus on lots of
pillows so you don't hunch over, but rather you reclined slightly and
had him lay on you, either in cradle position or vertical to you.
Try to look for support
pillows that
have easy - clean, machine - washable covers or
pillows that you can easily purchase your own separate cover for if it doesn't come with.
While the manufacturers
do not claim it, a number of reviewers
have actually attested to the fact that this
pillow works wonders to prevent and even cure flat head syndrome to a certain extent.
Smaller babies may need to be propped up somewhat by a
pillow and it may be difficult with babies that
do not yet
have good head control, but most babies from about 3 months to 2 years should be able to breastfeed in this position.
After 12 months, it's okay for your baby to bring a special toy or blanket to bed for comfort, but it's still safest to keep his crib relatively empty — so don't give your child a

has transitioned from the crib to a bed.
When you're traveling with infants, be sure to
have a car seat that meets all the proper safety regulations, and don't forget to bring along your favorite nursing

When I don't
have my
pillow with me, I like to drape a lightweight baby blanket over my arm.

had to put a large bed
pillow under it, or else my son was no - where's near high enough to nurse without me leaning over a whole lot (which you're not supposed to
do).

have to worry about them sliding away from you while baby is nursing.
I don't think the inflatable one
would be as snugly, I think I will stick to the
pillow types!
Lay throw blankets over the back of your couch to invite guests to curl in and cuddle up, don't skimp on the
pillows (perfect for when the kids bring friends over for sleepovers), and if you
do have windows in the room, make sure you find great, modern window treatments that will add a bit of appeal to an otherwise blank wall — especially if your window looks out on a less than spectacular view.
If you don't
have any nursing tops, the
pillow can hide your midriff when you pull up your shirt to nurse... a plus for those of us who are a bit more rotund than society prefers:)

pillow!
A wriggly child is more likely to fall out of bed, but if you
have bed rails and
pillows in place, there won't be any harm if this
does happen.
A hypoallergenic maternity
pillow may not be necessary for pregnant women who
do not
have asthma, allergies, or sensitive skin, however, all baby's skin is sensitive.
