fabric dog for the littlest niece; and Peony screaming to be done by the end
of October.
In the end, I got two 20 ″ x 20 ″
pillows out of that 1 yard but as I'm trying to make you a diagram for you
of how I got that
out of the 54 ″
fabric, I'm not sure exactly how that was done.
I really lucked
out as our local Habitat store had huge bins
of fabric samples, large enough to make
pillow covers.
I bought
fabric today to make two dog beds
out of pieces
of my old memory foam mattress topper... I'm thinking I can use your technique, my question is where on your
pillow is the open seam?
I'm definitely not an advanced sewer by any means but I am able to make a basic throw
pillow by cutting
out two squares
of fabric and stitching them together.
I started
out by cutting
out just one single piece
of fabric per
pillow and quickly ironing it in these few key places.
The cushion will be burlap, with a fancy, little folded skirt
out of the blue
fabric in the middle, and the
pillows will be made
out of the floral and the striped
fabrics.
Two
of the
pillows will have piping made
out of the blue
fabric in the middle.
