Add all the ingredients for the sauce except for the corn syrup in another pot: 1 1/2 cups water, 3 Tbsp soy sauce, 3 Tbsp Sugar, 2 Tbsp cooking wine, 1/2 Tbsp minced garlic, 1 tsp salt, 2 pinches of black pepper, and 2
pinches of ginger powder.

Top with more shredded coconut and flax when you're ready to serve if you want, and even add a
nice pinch of ginger and lemon zest for extra appeal.

I wanted the flavours of the strawberries to come through and I find that when baked strawberries can mellow somewhat so I used just
a pinch of ginger and cardamom for a hint of spice.
They had a deep, wonderful pumpkin flavor with spice undertones (I also added
a pinch of ginger), I replaced the oil with butter (salted); the batter looked a little separated but baked perfect.
The recipe sounds really good, though I'll add cinnamon and
a pinch of ginger myself.
