My son was almost 2 years old, I took a tack / push
pin to all of his binkies (mam pacifiers), secretly placing several little holes
along the
seam line of the nipple (and tested them myself for lack of suction).
Basically, I bunched up the bottom of the dress and secured it
along the inside
seam with safety
pins.
Once we were happy with the placement, we then folded under the
seam allowance of the text printed panel and
pinned the two edges in place, so that the dancers and «horizon line»
along the base of the border print matched.
