pipefish, blue ringed octopus and ringed
pipefish.
Take a relaxing wander through the Gorgonian Garden
for possible manta ray encounters and then return
for a night dive to meet ghost
pipefish hidden in the colourful coral garden.
At the northern tip of Cebu the small island of Malapascua is famous
for thresher sharks, but also delivers walls, spectacular soft coral growths and a diverse roster of marine life that includes batfish, flutemouth, barracuda, tuna, mantis shrimp,
pipefish, scorpionfish, lionfish, Moorish idols, schooling bannerfish, unicorn fish, squid, octopus and various moray eels.
Sea fans harbour
pipefish, seahorses and shrimpfish, keeping even the most experienced divers entertained

for macro photographers.
For «big fish» aficionados, whale sharks, manta rays, leopard sharks and other pelagics are a major draw whilst macro-life such as seahorse, frogfish, ghost
pipefish and an array of nudibranch and crustaceans can all be seen amongst the reefs.
Due to the strenght of the currents during the day, our groups spend most of the time along the northern wall looking
for critters like Crinoid and Wire Coral Shrimp, Soft Coral
Pipefish, flatworms, nudibranchs, Bargibanti Pygmy Seahorse and more.
Just follow the wall around and look out
for Mandarin Fish, Ghost
Pipefish, pygmy seahorse, Horseshoe crab and occasional epaulet shark.
The walls are covered in soft corals and gorgonians, look
for things like ghost
pipefish, moray eels and seahorses.
This dive was special
for macro life, since Pygmy Seahorses (including from the species Pontohi), nudibranchs, lobsters, shrimps and
pipefishes were pointed out by our dive guides.
