Buffalo, NY (WBEN) Erie County Clerk Mickey Kearns is reminding people to recertify
their pistol permits before the deadline at the end of the month.
Those who had New York
pistol permits before mid-January 2013 must re-certify by the end of January 2018, according to the SAFE Act.
The deadline applies to those who were issued
a pistol permit before January 2013.
