The recipe I have is done
by weight, so it's a huge
PITA to make (I have no concept of weight / volume comparisons so I haven't been able to convert it to cups, Tbs, etc.) and takes me forever.
I actually saved a few Weight Watchers SmartPoints
by using corn tortillas instead of
pita bread.
1) Remove the chickpea skins
by pinching chickpeas softly until their skins come off 2) Add de-skinned chickpeas, peeled and chopped garlic, olive oil, water and salt and blend in a blender 3) Garnish with paprika powder and serve with
pita bread, tortilla chips, toast, etc..
You can serve the skewers
by themselves as a snack or party app, pair them with rice or a spinach salad for dinner, or wrap the Mediterranean chicken up in
pita bread with hummus, spinach and tomatoes for a delicious lunch!
I had some avocado in my salad last night and I think I'll use up the rest of it
by toasting old
pita breads with olive oil and salt, into crispy - type chips.
